1. PURPOSE OF THE PRIVACY POLICY

During the operation of www.konyssa.com, Andrea dr. Kónya-Kiss (hereinafter referred to as Data handler) handles the personal data of newsletter subscribers (Data subjects). The purpose of this privacy policy is to provide information on data handling to the visitors of the website and to Data subjects.

  1. THE LEGAL BASIS, PURPOSE AND METHOD OF DATA HANDLING

The data is handled based on the informed, voluntary statement of the Data subject. This statement contains the Data subject’s explicit consent to handle his/her personal data that is provided by him/her during the newsletter subscription. The legal basis of the data handling is the Data subject’s voluntary consent as described in the 2016/679 decree of the European Parliament and Council (GDPR) 6. (1) a).

The consent regarding the newsletter subscription is expressed by voluntarily selecting the checkbox during the newsletter subscription and by voluntarily providing the handled data. By accepting this privacy policy, the data subject admits to be more than 16 years old.

The purpose of the data handling is to send the newsletter to the email address provided by the Data subject. The Data handler uses the data only for this purpose: to send newsletters. The handled personal data can be handed over to a third party only with the prior explicit consent of the Data subject, except if otherwise provided by a binding law.

The Data handler does not check the personal data provided to her. The reality of the provided data is the liability of only the Data subject. The data subject is liable for the fact that only he/she will use services through the provided email address.

The personal data is handled until the newsletter unsubscription.

  1. THE SCOPE OF PEOPLE WHO CAN RECOGNIZE THE PERSONAL DATA, DATA TRANSMISSION, DATA PROCESSING

The data will be recognized by the Data handler. The newsletters will be processed by the systems od Mailchimp (mailchimp.com).

  1. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT AND POSSIBILITIES TO ENFORCE THE RIGHTS

The Data subject can request information from the Data handler about the personal data handled by her at any time, can request modification of the personal data contacting the data handler via email. The Data handler will provide information about the data handled by her or processed by a data processor based on her will, the source of the data, the purpose of data handling, the legal basis of the data handling, the period of the data handling, the data processor’s name, address and data processing activities, the data security incident’s circumstances, effects and the activities performed to fend off the incident and – in case of transmitting the personal data of the Data subject – the legal basis of the data transmission and the target of the data transmission in a maximum of one month from receiving the request in writing.

The Data handler keeps a record of any data security incidents in order to record the activities performed in connection to the incident and to be able to inform the Data subjects. This record contains the affected personal data, the scope and number of persons affected by the incident, the time of the incident, the circumstances of the incident, the actions performed to remedy the incident and all information that is to be recorded in any binding law of the data handling.

The Data subject can turn to the Data handler with any questions or notifications regarding the data handling using the above email address.

The Data subject has the right to request to modify or delete his/her wrongly recorded personal data. The Data handler will modify or delete the data within one month after the request is received through her konyssa@konyssa.com email address. If the Data handler will not modify or delete the data, then she will provide the reasoning for refusing the request within one month after receiving the request in writing.

The Data subject can turn to Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (1125 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/c.; www.naih.hu) with his/her complaint.

If the Data subject provided a third person’s personal data for the usage of the service, then the Data handler can validate her losses against the Data subject. The Data handler will help authorities will all possible actions to identify the identity of the offending person.

  1. UNSUBSCRIPTION

The Data handler will handle the data provided during the newsletter subscription until the Data subject will unsubscribe from the newsletter either through the email address of the Data handler defined above in section 2, or by clicking the “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom section of the newsletter. After unsubscription the Data handler will not send newsletters to the Data subject. The Data subject can unsubscribe from the newsletter or to withdraw his/her consent at any time free of charge.

  1. OTHER PROVISIONS

In case the Data handler wants to use the provided data for a reason that is different from the original reason of data handling, then she will inform the Data subject and will request a prior consent from the Data subject. The Data handler will provide the possibility for the Data subject to prohibit such a usage of the data.

The Data handler shall ensure the security of the data, and shall take all technical measures ensuring the protection of the recorded, stored and handled data, and shall make every effort in order to prevent the destruction, unauthorized use and alteration of the data. The Data handler is obliged to draw the attention of any third party to whom the data is to be transmitted or provided to the same obligation.

The data handler reserves the right to unilaterally amend or change this Privacy Policy subject to the prior notification of the Data subject via the website.
